Pennine Lubricants is a leading independently owned family business. Their lubricants are
blended using only 100% virgin based oils for industries including Agriculture, Automotive, Food
and Industrial.
As an existing customer of HEUK, we were contacted as Pennine required an additional Forklift
Truck. The truck is for use outdoors loading and unloading both lorries and containers.
James Heathcote of Pennine said ‘The new truck had made it much safer for us as what we used
before wasn’t really fit for purpose. We had a reach truck before that should of only been used
indoors as outside is quite bumpy and you could feel every bump. Also, we didn’t have a roof on
so when it rained the operator would get soaked which is never fun, but also the rain got over all
of the electrical components which is not ideal.
James continued, ‘Long term it will save us money as the call out fees and fixes to the reach truck
kept increasing. The new truck is more modern than what we have had previously which is great.
James Marshall, Pennines Operations Manager said: ‘Thank you to Marie and the team for such an

market to purchase a new counterbalance FLT I came across Handling Equipment UK Ltd and they

I can say the whole experience was very easy and the truck was delivered very quickly and what a
piece of kit it is. It has everything we need on it and more. I had noticed that the truck settings
were not quite right and with 1 phone call I had someone logged into the truck remotely to adjust
and fine tune the drive of the truck which made it perfect.
